iScooter iX3 800W Off Road Electric Scooter

Reluctant to buy at first (I'm 6 feet 4 inches and weigh 220 pounds) but surprisingly satisfied customer. I'm giving this scooter 5 stars. Here's why:

1. Customer Service--although back tire broke within first three weeks, customer service express shipped new tire & equipment and completely covered the $100 repair costs. To my utter surprise, the staff I spoke to were friendly, reliable, helpful and dare I say gracious when requesting $$ for the repair.

2. Equipment--the scooter itself was an upgrade from my Segway scooter. I live in Manhattan and need something faster and tough enough to survive potholes. I have not gone off-road per say; however, I drive though tough streets with gravel and the scooter can more than handle it just fine.

3. Speed--this this is fast. This is not your run-of-the-mill young adult scooter. This thing will get you from point A to B quickly and the shock absorption is also appreciated and works well.

4. Screen--my previous Segway scooter was just as expensive and had a tiny screen that wasn't very bright. This screen (which is included) is bright, easy to operate and just adds a nice touch.

Bonus: The lights aren't a necessity for me, but they are fun and when turned on can be quite flashy.

All in all, this is a quality product for those looking for a dependable, fast, durable scooter to get around the city with or drive for fun. I've had it for 6 months now and use it daily and other than the initial hiccup with a broken tire, I have nothing but quality things to say about this scooter and the customer service.

I didn't buy ix3 for its safety features. My scooter won't be off roading. On a smooth surface , that you know, this scooter is really more fun than one should be allowed.

I really enjoy this scooter. This is my first time getting one and I must say it was a great buy and worth the money. The application feature for the scooter is ok, could be better. The Headlight and base lighting is very bright. The braking system is pretty good. It's fast as well.

I have never taken the time to review a product. This was very different. My wife and I are in our mid 60's. Both are at the upper end of the max weight. We purchased 2 standard 350watt scooters about 16months ago. Had a blast. Used them in Key West everywhere instead of needing a car. But without suspension our feet and knees took a beating so we started looking for a better option. After reading the specs and researching the company we decided to purchase the iX3. It is truly more than we expected. Being at max weight ,on flat level ground I have hit 27.5 mph. Downhill 28.5. I believe the speed control is not allowing it to go any faster. I have not had the opportunity to test the mileage. My longest ride has been 12 miles. I still find it amazing that it will go that far. But we live in flat Florida so I'm sure that helps. Our other scooters could not be used on any soft or loose surface. These just roll on. The other scooters had lights but they were only to be seen not to safely see where you are going. The lights on this machine make you very visible but also light the road ahead. Dual brakes stop smoothly. Instrumentation is absolutely superb. And bluetooth capable to bind with your phone for several functions. And the price was much less than compatible units. To say I'm pleased with my purchase is an understatement.

Good quality, smooth ride and I look forward to many miles on it. 4 stars because I think the charging port flip close door is poor design especially because you have to have the charger oriented a certain way for it to fit. Its spring loaded so you need two hands, it is clumsy. It’s incredibly hard to see and tedious to get right. It also makes it susceptible to water, dirt and whatever else. Overall I am happy with the purchase and would recommend the scooter but would entertain and look into other scooters should this one have problems.
